Tommy, Tommy, Tommy,

I have just been lucky enough to see your new site. I am so happy for you and think that you and Bev have done something very special and will help you and many others.  Which is where I came in.  I always tried to help musicians - not sure I really ever did, but I felt the music and  wanted to keep the wolves at bay so to speak.

I was with Stevie the night y'all walked into the Fog. I remember later that night when we were going home and that all Stevie could talk about was you. He told me then that someday he was gonna play with you.  Then a little while later we were all living together.

 I have been very lucky for a crippled fat guy. I have been all over the world and worked with so many great artists. I have been very close to some great people.  I want you to know that you , Stevie , and Whipper are the best of the best I ever knew.  I felt like a old Dad who had to protect his sons. That may sound strange to some.  But it was kinda
what I did.  Sometimes not very good, I might add.

Well, I love you all three, and I am today a better man because of y'all. Thank you all for the love you gave me.
