The photos on this, and the next two pages, were taken during Jimi Hendrix Tribute concerts earlier this year (2004).  Chris and I do these tributes every year, and really enjoy them.  It is so much fun playing Hendrix songs all night!

The photo below was taken in Seattle, the first night of the tribute shows.  This was a great lineup.  That is Hubert Sumlin on the far left; he was the original guitar player for Howlin' Wolf.  He influenced a lot of great guitar players that you hear today.  I call him "Dad."  I've known him for a long time.  Behind him in the picture is Mike McCready from Pearl Jam.  I love playing with some of these younger guys; they have a lot to say.

That's me in the cap, and Chris in the back.  The guitar player up front on the right is Jimmy D. Lane.  Chris and I did a record with Jimmy not long ago.  It's a good record; check it out if you get a chance.

The song we were playing when this picture was taken was "Hey Joe."
