I can’t remember when this was taken.  This is my dearest friend in the world - Uncle John Turner.  We met when I first moved to Dallas.  I hadn’t been out of high school  very long.  He taught me a lot about music and life. So, we have known each other for more than half of our lives.  He is also the one who talked Johnny into playing the Blues. At that time we were afraid if we did, we wouldn’t be able to make a living.  When we started playing what we loved (Blues)  everything started happening for us.  After all these years, Unc and I are still close.  He lives just a few blocks from me now.
